Dark Knight Rises Review

This film was by far the most anticipated movie of the year and it certainly was a great action movie but I wasn’t as impressed with the story as I was with it’s predecessors. The ending I felt had some unanswered questions, and Bane’s voice kept changing throughout the film which made it at times hard to understand the dialogue. Good film but I expected a little bit more to conclude the series. 3.5/5

My First Sports Post!

Well hello everyone, and welcome to my first sports post! Now I know what your thinking, he’s going to talk about the San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers series or he’s going to talk about an NFL story now that the we are at the eighth week. Nope your all wrong I am going to talk about a sports franchise that I can’t seem to understand for the life of me! My own home town Seattle Mariners. Where do I even start with this ball club. Well I can say that since I am a ticket holder almost every season, I expect improvement. And the Seattle Mariners have failed miserably for so long. This is a team that in the past three seasons has lost over 100 games twice. This is a team that has gone through more coaches and players than any team I can recall. This team is being poorly run in my book, and it starts with the ownership only wanting to see one player succeed on the field and that is Ichiro Suzuki. We need ownership to step up fire the necessary idiots who are making poor decisions about who to put on the field. I’ll give Jack Zduriencik one last shot, but he is on thin ice after making some pretty bad decisions. I can’t however emphasize more that ownership needs to fire both Howard Lincoln and Chuck Armstrong. Somehow every year when this team falls way short of expectations these two morons seem to still have a job. Now back to the product on the field. As we learned in 2010, it doesn’t matter if you the try to have the best pitching and defense in the league, if you don’t have any offense at all, you WON’T win games. I can’t tell you how many times this last Spring and Summer that my family and I would pray that the Mariners would score at least more than 3 runs a game. It didn’t happen. Not when your counting on guys like Milton Bradley, Casey Kotchman, Jack Wilson and everyone else who can’t seem to hit the ball. Looking forward to 2011, we can only hope this organization will aquire some actual hitters and turn things around. Someone who I think they should go after is Adrian Gonzalez via a trade. I think this guy could be a major help in Seattle as he is young and a left handed power bat that has the potential to do well in Safeco Field. That’s all I have to say right now guys but I am sure this will be an interesting winter!
